ENERGY METER INSTALLATION
MTSL Energies Limited undertook Energy meter installation projects starting in 2007, which covered the installation of Umeme postpaid energy meters’ single phase and three phases for domestic, business and industrial customers in various districts across the central region of Uganda i.e Mukono, Entebbe, Najjanankumbi, Nateete, Kabalagala, Wandegeya and Banda. The works included no pole services, one pole and two pole service connections under ECP.

In 2014, MTSL Energies was the pioneer contractor to install prepaid meters in Uganda under the postpaid conversion project by Umeme, in areas around Kampala (Bugolobi, Kitintale, Nateete, Najjanankumbi), Entebbe and other districts under new connections including Mbarara, Kaseese, Bushenyi, Fort portal, Kabale, Masaka and Mityana, until 2022. MTSL Energies Limited continues to execute Energy meter installation under CAPEX and ADB-funded connections under Umeme as of 2023.
